Theyve finished in the Champions League twice on the bounce, theyve got a great young manager and a great squad.They had an advantage over Chelsea in the summer because Chelsea werent in the Champions League and Spurs were.If Higuain had the option in the summer which club to go to, he maybe would have taken less wages and gone to Spurs because they were in the Champions League.Thats where Spurs had the advantage, and they never capitalised on it.Thats when they had the chance to sign the top players, but now theyre in a bidding war of wages which they cant compete in against Chelsea.
