Tottenham vs Liverpool: Jose Mourinho says third Champions League final defeat for Jurgen Klopp would be ‘really hard’
Jose Mourinho has said a third Champions League final defeat for Jurgen Klopp would be ‘really hard’ for the Liverpool manager. The German lost at Wembley while manager of Borussia Dortmund in 2013, and also fell at the final hurdle last season against Real Madrid in Kiev.It meansKlopp has lost six of his seven finals as a manager in all competitions and will be hoping not to make it eight as he prepares his side to face Tottenham in Madrid on June 1.Klopp has reached two finals but still hasn’t got his hands on the European Cupgetty1

Two-time victor Mourinho, who won both his finals with Porto (2004) and Inter Milan (2010), says the pressure is on the Liverpool boss, but insists he is a ‘positive guy’ who only thinks about winning.“Being a manager and understanding what it means for a manager to play a Champions League final, there is always a negative side of it and the negative side is that one team is going to lose it,” Mourinho told Sky Sports.. “If Jurgen wins, it is an incredible achievement for him, if Jurgen doesn’t win… you know, to lose three Champions League finals has to be really, really hard.“But in this moment, he is a positive guy and I think he just thinks about winning.”
