Spanish newspaper AS report, via Sport Witness, that Hazard could consider a transfer request should the two clubs fail to reach an agreement over the fee.Marina Granovskaia, director of Chelsea, remains hopeful of keeping the Belgian international, but could sell for a fee of around 98million. Should any transfer be blocked over the summer then it is likely that Hazard will sign a pre-contract agreement with Madrid in January 2020.The Blues are unlikely to be able to spend any money they get for the player as they are facing a transfer ban, however. They have appealed UEFA’s decision but have yet to learn if the ban will be delayed, which would allow them to sign players this summer.
