Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester City in three-horse race for Premier League title, says Harry Redknapp
Harry Redknapp has claimed Chelsea and Arsenal are nowhere near challenging for the title and believes the Premier League is a ‘three-horse race’ between Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester City this season.Liverpool went six points clear at the top of the table over Christmas as they beat Newcastle and City suffered a shock defeat to Leicester. The defending champions have now slipped to third, with Spurs up into second with a thumping 5-0 win over Bournemouth.

PREMIER LEAGUE RESULTS: A round-up of all the Boxing Day action

Liverpool look to be the team to beat they are only the fourth side in Premier League history to reach the Christmas period still unbeaten and they have conceded just seven goals all season. But Redknapp has insisted Tottenham shouldnt be ruled out of challenging for the crown, adding that Chelsea or Arsenal in fourth and fifth respectively have no chance.I think its a three horse race, the Im a Celebrity winner told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast.Heung-min Son celebrates in Spurs’ 5-0 win over Bournemouth2

Liverpool are the favourites now which is a big turnaround. But Tottenham are in great form at the moment and they are genuine title contenders.Spurs are still in it, you cant write them off. They are bang there, the way they are playing at the moment.I cant see anybody else getting into it.I watched Arsenal yesterday and they are nowhere near in my opinion. I know theyve had injuries, but at the back they are still very poor.Arsenal drew 1-1 with Brighton on Boxing Day2

And Chelsea are just so reliant on Eden Hazard. Without him you couldnt really see them challenging, theyre still short of a frontman. So really, I think there are three runners and I think it will be very tight. Its going to be a great title race this year.Listen back to Harry Redknapp on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast IN FULL above!
