When does the stadium open?

Tottenham will play their first match at their new stadium on April 3.The stadium must host the two Test Events to be awarded the correct safety certificates, and both of these took place over the past couple of weeks.The first, an Under-18s match, was played on March 24, while the second – Spurs Legends vs Inter Forever – took place on March 30.

Who are the first opponents at the ground?

It has been confirmed Crystal Palace will be the first team Tottenham play at their new home.The Eagles and Brighton were the two potential debut opponents due to their progression to the FA Cup quarter-finals, but Palace were knocked out the Cup by Watford while Brighton made it through to the semi-finals.This resulted in the Palace fixture being scheduled for April 3, with Brighton visiting the ‘Tottenham Hotspur Stadium’ later that same month.
