Jadon Sancho believes Borussia Dortmund’s thrilling 3-2 victory over Bayern Munich could be the catalyst towards ‘big things’ for the Bundesliga club.Having twice come from behind, a Paco Alcacer strike eventually settled the score in favour of Dortmund who extended their lead over Borussia Monchengladbach at the top of the table to four points, while they are seven clear of fifth place Bayern.1

Sancho, who impressed once again at Signal Iduna Park shared his delight after the match as Dortmund continued their unbeaten start to the campaign.“I’m so happy for the team,” Sancho said. “This result came from everyone working hard together. If we keep on doing this throughout the season, we could win big things.“Obviously we’ll celebrate tonight, but then we’ll forget about the game and think about the next one.”With four goals and six assists so far this season, the 18-year-old was rewarded for his impressive form with an England call up and he appeared off the bench for his debut in the 0-0 draw with Croatiain October.

While Sancho is keen to play up Dortmund’s chances of winning the league, his ambitions appear to be even bigger.“We just have to keep working hard and focus on the next game. If we keep on doing this we’ve got a good chance of winning the league or – who knows – the Champions League. You never know.”
