Midfielders Ander Herrera and Juan Mata trudged off the pitch after picking up injuries in quick succession.United’s interim boss wasted no time in getting them off and on came Andreas Pereira and Jesse Lingard, who looked like he wouldn’t even make it into the matchday squad after sustaining an injury against Paris Saint-Germain.And substitute Lingard was forced off moments before the break after going down in the middle of the pitch, clearly being forced back sooner than he should have been.The much-maligned Alexis Sanchez came on for Lingard.3
