Suarez, who wildly celebrated his opener during Barcelona’s 3-0 first leg victory at the Nou Camp last week, has seen every touch met with a deafening chorus of boos, as has Coutinho.The Uruguayan has decided to play the pantomime villain by getting involved in a fierce battle with Reds midfielder Fabinho, tumbling to ground theatrically at every opportunity and even aiming a kick at Andy Robertson. Liverpool fans have responded with chants of ‘cheat’ and ‘f*** off Suarez’ – as they discover for themselves why the striker was almost universally detested by opposition fans during his time in the Premier League.Nonetheless, Suarez had expected a warm welcome after making more than 100 appearances for the club.
