Jean-Clair Todibo: Barcelona confirm they will sign Liverpool target on free transfer this summer
Barcelona have agreed a deal to sign France starlet Jean-Clair Todibo on July 1, the LaLiga club have confirmed.Todibo, the defender, will leave Toulouse when his contract expires at the end of the season, meaning he joins Barca on a free transfer.The 19-year-old has made just 10 appearances for Toulouse’s first team, debuting in August and playing his most recent match at the beginning of November.A Barcelona statement read: “FC Barcelonahave reached an agreement with the French playerJean-Clair Todibofor him tojoin the Club from 1 July 2019.“The players contract withToulouse FCends on 30 June this year and so he will join on a free transfer.”Primarily a central defender, Todibo can also play in midfield and is known for his physical presence, ability in the air, and technical skill with the ball at his feet.
